Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts in Eastern Mind (cause sometimes finding that little bar at the top is difficult):

CTRL + N - New game
CTRL + S - Allows you to make a save file
CTRL + O - Opens an existing save file
CTRL + Q - Quits the game

A blog dedicated to "Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong Nou" and all of it's strangeness. Through this blog we hope to provide a bit of clarity on the game's story and characters, as well as be a collection of fanworks, screenshots, etc.

Eastern Mind was released in 1995 by Osamu Sato, also the creator of the infamous "LSD: Dream Emulator".

The game's protagonist is Rin, who discovers his soul has been stolen by the island of Tong Nou, and ventures there to look for it. The main goal of the game is to have Rin die, be reincarnated 9 times, (fulfilling the purpose of each life), and to find the 5 elemental magatamas. Along the way he meets the strange inhabitants of Tong Nou, explores the mysterious lands, and eventually, discovers the truth behind the island.
